The “operational” panel would touch upon specific operations and how DLT, smart contracts and AI would fit in the realm of traditional contract law, from the point of view of general contract law (including the relationship with other fields such as torts)

Our presentation:
Briefly, we believe that 1) contract law is flexible enough to allow the possibility of making automated contracts (and therefore nothing new under the sun to deal with this new field (acceptance – formalism – etc.)). On the other hand, it seems that 2) the contractualization of the AI raises certain concerns both with regard to the interaction between legal and technical standards and maybe also with the possibility of new contractual obligations (transparency – governance, etc.)
